Lily of the Valley

qquoe's character Esme using her degeneration magic to remove a floral sleeve tattoo from her arm. She's holding a wand that looks like a withered tree branch in one arm, and a wand that looks like a living tree branch in the other arm.

Esme comes from a family that practices the art of tattooing, but is unique in that she can use regeneration and degeneration magic to control the flow of time for a subject. One application of this skill is the ability to remove tattoos in order to practice.

This year I worked mainly on improving the sense of place in my art, and pushed myself with a lot of large-scale pieces. My lighting and composition improved as a result. I’d like to continue improving them in 2023 and beyond!
